How does the humidification process work?
The slowly rotating disk stack has a surface area of over 4.2 m² and 1.9 m² (depending on moel). If dry air meet these large water surfaces, ittakes on moisture and passes it on to the area.
How does the air-purification process work?
Suspended particles such as dust, tobacco smoke, pollen and odor molecules are sucked from the air into the water by the rotating disk stack and then bound by the water. Pure, clean water evaporates Dirt remains in the tank and can easily poured out every 10-14 days.
Where is the optimum location for the device?
The device should be positioned so that air can be sucked freely. This means: nothing on top (eg not under a table) and to a minimum distance of 0.5 m from walls, furniture, etc.
What is the optimal duration of the air airwasher and humidifier?
It depends on the individual needs. The longer humidification and/or air purification is needed, the longer the machine runs.
How is the room properly ventilated?
We recommend the room be ventilated times a day just to air and reclosed.(Always open windows significantly reduce the cleaning and humidification)
Can the device run 24 hours a day?
Yes, the device is suitable for continuous operation. It is very low in power consumption: Less than a 40 watt light bulb.
What happens if the device is "dry" run?
There won't be any humidification or air purification but this won't harm the device. The device does not harm it.
What happens if the unit is not used for a long time?
The device can be easily be restored to service. This unit should be cleaned before storage.
Why no other non-Venta additives should be used?
Only Venta branded additives have been specifically formulated to work with the airwahers high quality plastics. Other additives such as fragrances (or essential oils) from drug stores and pharmacies as well as cleaning agents damage the plastic.
Venta warranty doesn't cover such damages.
